No earlier than 1:30 p.m., the Board will conduct a hearing to consider the appeal by the Turtle Island Restoration Network (TIRN, aka SPAWN) of the Planning Commission’s approval of the Murray Design Review and Mitigated Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact for a property at 192 Redwood Drive, Woodacre. On July 11, the Planning Commission voted unanimously to approve the proposal to build a single-family residence of approximately 1,900 square feet and a 460-square-foot attached garage on a vacant infill lot. TIRN asserts that the project is not consistent with the Stream Conservation Area policies contained in the 1994 Marin Countywide Plan and appealed for four other reasons.
The Board approved the design review and denied the appeal.
