Meeting Date: 11/17/2015
Preview
The Board will hear an informational presentation on the Draft Marin Coast Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment compiled by the Community Development Agency’s Collaboration: Sea-level Marin Action Response Team (C-SMART). The team was started in June 2014 to guide the County as it began to prepare for the threats of sea-level rise and increased storm surges for coastal communities. The Vulnerability Assessment is the first of two major deliverables from C-SMART and serves as a foundation for the second deliverable, the Adaptation Strategy Report. The assessment analyzes exposure and sensitivity to higher tides, the community's ability to adapt to higher tides, and the timing and potential impacts for each built and natural asset.
