The Board will conduct a hearing to consider the Coury appeal of the Planning Commission’s approval of the Parish-Martin, LLC Design Review 15-41 and Sign Review 15-3 (Good Earth) 201-205 Flamingo Road, Mill Valley (APN 052-051-34). The applicant, Good Earth Market, is requesting design review and sign review to allow for exterior modifications to an existing commercial building in unincorporated Tam Valley. The existing commercial building, previously known as Cala Foods and Bell Market, is an approximately 35,000 square foot building with a first floor and a mezzanine. The first floor is approximately 27,000 square feet with the remaining floor area located at the mezzanine. The building is currently developed with an anchor grocery store tenant space consisting of 31,700 square feet, and three tenant spaces totaling approximately 3,300 square feet located along the side elevation of the building.
The Board denied the appeal and approved the Good Earth market application to remodel and occupy the supermarket space at Tam Junction.
