The Board will hear a request from the Department of Public Works to adopt a resolution approving emergency contracting procedures and authorizing appropriations to repair public works damaged by recent storms. The costs of road repair projects are estimated to be $700,000, and both federal and state reimbursement funding is being explored. The costs of levee repair projects in Novato are estimated to be more than $1 million. If the request is approved, General Fund one-time reserves would be reduced from $6.95 million to $5.25 million, and $1.7 million would be allocated to a new 2014 General Fund Storm Damage project.


The Board heard the request and adopted the resolution.
