The Board will conduct a public hearing and consider a request from Marin Sanitary Service for rate increases ranging from 2.23 percent to 6.99 percent for Central Marin Franchise Areas No. 1-6, Ross Valley North and Ross Valley South. The franchise agreement establishes rates with a price index that factors in the costs of fuel, labor, vehicle maintenance and replacement. Marin Sanitary states that its rate-setting methodology shows the increase is warranted.
The Board conducted the hearing and approved rate increase.
