The Board will hear a request from the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Commission to recognize Parks and Open Space Superintendent Ed Hulme on the occasion of his retirement for his many contributions to the IPM Commission.

The mission of the MarinKids nonprofit is "to build a community — through advocacy, education, research, mobilization and leadership — that believes caring for all of Marin’s children is our collective responsibility, and that acts to realize this belief."

The Board will conduct a hearing to consider a .96 percent rate increase by the Ratto Group of Companies for refuse and recycling in the West Marin franchise area, which includes coastal communities with the exception of Bolinas and Stinson Beach. The monthly cost to customers would be an increase of 32 cents for a standard 32-gallon container.

The Board will conduct a hearing to consider a 4 percent rate increase by the Bay Cities Refuse Services for refuse and recycling in its Southern Marin franchise area, which includes most of a houseboat areas of Waldo Point Harbor, Kappas Harbor and Yellow Ferry Harbor and the area south of Sausalito to the Golden Gate Bridge and West of Fort Cronkite. The monthly increase would be $1.17 per household.

The Board will consider certification of the 2008 Easton Point Residential Development (Rezoning, Master Plan, Precise Development Plan, Tentative Subdivision Map) and Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR). The Martha Company has submitted an application to the Community Development Agency for approval of a 43-unit subdivision on a 110-acre parcel at the southeastern tip of the Tiburon Peninsula. In October 2013, the Board directed staff and an environmental consultant to provide clarification on several environmental issues.
