The Board will hear the first reading of a Reasonable Accommodation Ordinance intended to remove governmental constraints to the maintenance, improvement and development of housing for persons with disabilities. Adoption of the ordinance would help the County receive state certification with its recently passed Housing Element update of the Countywide Plan. The clerk will be asked to schedule a merit hearing for 10:30 a.m. Nov. 12.
