The County Administrator's Office will announce the inaugural winners of the Innovation Recognition Awards, aka the Inny Awards. The recognition is modeled after a California State Assocation of Counties program and rewards employees who innovate and adapt in our rapidly changing work environments. The Marin Community Foundation donated funds to seed the Inny Awards.

Review
The Department of Information Service & Technology won first prize at the inaugural Inny Awards for the implementation of the JURIS system, a way to track citations and and provide case management to Marin County Superior Court. Lynn Say and Rwena Holaday accepted the award on behalf of the JURIS team.
Marin County Fire and Health & Human Services shared the runner-up prize at the inaugural Inny Awards for development of the County's "Don't Miss a Beat - Sidewalk CPR" program. Battalion Chief Mike Giannini and Karrie Groves of Emergency Management Services accepted the award.
Health & Human Services won the honorable mention prize at the inaugural Inny Awards for development the "Girls Running Group: Las Chicas Locas" program in conjunction with the Marin County Probation Office. Director Larry Meredith and Angela Arenas from HHS accepted the award with support from Chief Probations Officer Michael Daly.
