The Board will conduct a public hearing in order to consider a 3.25% rate increase for the West Marin Franchise Area Number 1, which includes the West Marin coast area, excluding Bolinas and Stinson Beach. The rate increase is being requested by the Redwood Empire Disposal company for a number of reasons, with a 7.95% increase in the cost of fuel being a primary factor

The Board will consider executing an agreement with the Pacific Gas and Electric Company in order accept $2.1 million in funds towards the Marin Energy Watch Partnership. This program is designed to provide energy efficiency services and incentives to residents, businesses, and public agencies throughout Marin County.
