In 2001 , the Marin County Board of Supervisors joined other comparable counties to delegate the County Administrator as a Deputy Purchasing Agency under Section 2.08.040 of Municipal Code and authorized the County Administrator under Section 2.08.051 of Municipal Code to enter into and execute on behalf of the County any professional services contracts valued at $25,000 and under. In August 2014, the Board of Supervisors approved an increase in the delegated contract threshold up to $50,000.
The County Administrator's Office is required to provide a quarterly report to the Board of Supervisors detailing all professional services contracts that were entered into under this delegated authority for review and final approval by the Board.
Use the button below to access a table of delegated agreements for every month, starting with July 2016 (Fiscal Year 2016-2017, Fiscal Quarter 1, first month of Quarter), through the three months of the latest Fiscal Quarter reported. The table is updated with another three months of data every Fiscal quarter. The table contains all the delegated contracts and revenue agreement contracts. It also provides click-able links to the content of most delegated contracts.
To access associated, quarterly approval letters by the Board of Supervisors, and to access the list of Cultural Services agreements within each letter, please visit the dataset table’s home page. The “About this Dataset” section of this home page contains downloadable links to these approval letters.
If you would like more information or need help using the online data accessed above (sorting, searching, filtering, etc.), please access a set of instructive Video Guides.
The collapsible panels, below, contain archived delegated agreement reports and approval letters through June 2019. No new reports and letters will be added to this archive. It will be removed in December 2019 because the same data is available online above.
