Project Title: RFP for General Investment Consulting Services

The Marin County Employees' Retirement Association is soliciting proposals from qualified companies to provide comprehensive full-retainer general investment consulting advice and services.

The selected investment consulting company will report regularly to the Board's Investment Committee, working closely with the Committee, Retirement Administrator and Staff.  The selected company will demonstrate extensive experience and superior capability for providing those investment consulting services that are critical to the success of a public pension system.  In general, the selected company will assist the Board and MCERA in the on-going process of investment policy development and implementation.

Project Title: Performance Management RFI

Under a directive of the Marin County Board of Supervisors, the County of Marin is seeking to provide a more flexible, better adopted Performance Management tool to the twenty-three separate units within County organizational structure.

As background, the County of Marin is also in the RFP vendor response analysis stage of replacing their SAP ERP (Financials and HCM) with a different selected vendor. Therefore, the effort to select a Performance Management product will take one of three avenues when completed:

1. The selected Performance Management product through this RFI process will remain in place and will integrate/interface with the selected HCM vendor system from the ERP RFP process.

2. The selected Performance Management product will already be part of the suite proposed by the final selected ERP vendor proposed solution

3. The selected Performance Management product through this RFI process will be replaced with the Performance Management product of the solution proposed by the final selected ERP vendor
