The vacancy is for a representative of District 3 (Mill Valley, Strawberry, Tiburon, Belvedere, Marin City, Tamalpais Valley, Sausalito). The appointing authority is the Marin County Board of Supervisors and the term is for two years.
The Disaster Council reviews, evaluates, and communicates to decision makers and the public on all matters pertaining to disaster preparedness.
