Temporary Closures Scheduled for Library Branches

All-Staff Day on September 19; Power upgrade September 27-28

San Rafael, CA – Dedicated visitors of the Marin County Free Library are urged to take note of some branch closures coming up soon.

All 10 branches in the system will be closed Friday, September 19, so employees can participant in an All-Staff Day. The branches are Bolinas, Civic Center, Corte Madera, Fairfax, Inverness, Marin City, Novato, South Novato, Point Reyes and Stinson Beach. City libraries in Belvedere-Tiburon, Larkspur, Mill Valley, San Anselmo, San Rafael (downtown and Pickleweed) and Sausalito will be open and available to MCFL patrons. Don’t forget that e-books, downloadable and streaming materials are available 24/7.

In addition, the Civic Center Branch in San Rafael will be closed Saturday, September 27, to allow crews to tend to some electrical maintenance. Power will be shut down September 27-28 for the entire Civic Center Administration Building and Hall of Justice at 3501 Civic Center Drive.

Other branches of the Marin County Free Library will remain open during the Civic Center branch closure, and many staff members from the Civic Center branch will be able to assist patrons at the other branches. <>For more information about the Marin County Free Library, check www.marinlibrary.org.
