Openings on Marin Law Library Board of Trustees

San Rafael, CA -- The Marin County Board of Supervisors is looking for applicants to serve on the Marin Law Library Board of Trustees. The deadline for applications, which must be from Marin residents, has been extended to 5 p.m. January 30.

In each California county, a Law Library Board of Trustees is established and governed by California Business and Professions Code Section 6300-6307. The trustees may make and enforce all rules, regulations, and by-laws necessary for the administration, government, and protection of the law library.

The law library underwent a major remodel and reopened in October at 20 N. San Pedro Ave. in San Rafael. It provides access to legal information through a variety of media, research assistance, and technologies needed to give practical expression to the law. According to its mission, it maintains a flexible and supportive presence that fosters the ends of community service and social justice.

Apply online or contact the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, 415-473-7331, Suite 329, 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael CA 94903.

Applications postmarked but not received by the January 30 deadline will not be accepted.
