San Rafael, CA – The Marin County Board of Supervisors has extended the application deadline in its recruiting for five vacancies on the newly formed
Marin County Architectural Commission.
The Board is looking for:
- Two licensed architects
- One licensed professional engineer
- One licensed contractor
- One public member
The deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, November 14. However, if vacancies remain after that date, they will be open until filled.
The Marin County Architectural Commission serves to qualify, designate and preserve local buildings or structures deemed architecturally significant due to their historical value; as well as existing or proposed structures deemed architecturally significant based on the structure’s ability to reduce negative environmental impacts in alignment with those values of present or future importance to the history, architecture or culture of Marin County.
