Advanced Home Upgrade
The Advanced Home Upgrade Rebate is for homeowners that are looking to do the most work and receive the biggest rebate for their project. This rebate option reaches up to $6,500 and is based on the percentage of energy efficiency increase to your home resulting from your project. The more energy your project saves, the bigger the rebate.
Advanced Home Upgrade requires an initial whole home energy assessment for which there is a $300 rebate available after your project is completed.
The Home Upgrade rebate is for homeowners that have already done some efficiency work on their home and know exactly what energy efficiency measures they are looking to install. Home Upgrade does not require an initial home assessment but it is limited to homes built before 2001. This rebate option reaches $3,000 and includes an additional $150 rebate for combustion safety testing if deemed necessary.

Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) - Homeowners can secure upfront funding for home efficiency and renewable energy projects which are repaid through an up to 20-year special line item on the property tax bill. This option differs from traditional consumer credit in that the loan is tied to the property, not the homeowner, and the loan terms do not rely on FICO or other credit scores.
Check with your local bank - There are a number of financing options available to help fund energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Some examples include: Conventional Mortgage Cash Out Refinance, FHA 203K Renovation Loan, Energy Efficiency Mortgage, and a traditional line of credit. Contact your local bank or mortgage lender to learn about what options are available to you. You can also call a Home Upgrade Advisor to review financing options by calling (866) 878-6008.
